Introduction
The "Assigned Trailers" document within the VSD Fleet Management System (VSD Fleet MS) is designed to manage and track the trailers assigned to different vehicles in the fleet. This document allows users to link trailers to vehicles and automatically fetch relevant trailer information such as the plate number, chassis number, and type. The data is presented in an editable grid, making it easy to update and manage trailer assignments.
1. Accessing Assigned Trailers
To access the "Assigned Trailers" document:
Navigate to the VSD Fleet MS module within your system.
Locate the "Assigned Trailers" document under the relevant section.
Open the document to view, add, or edit entries related to trailer assignments.
2. Overview of Fields
Trailer Name (Trailer Assigned)
Description: This field allows you to select the trailer that is being assigned. The trailer information will be fetched from the "Trailers" document.
How to Use: Select a trailer from the dropdown list, which will automatically fetch the related plate number, chassis number, and type.
Plate Number
Description: This field automatically fetches the plate number of the selected trailer from the "Trailers" document.
How to Use: The plate number is populated automatically when you select a trailer. It cannot be manually edited.
Chassis No
Description: This field automatically fetches the chassis number of the selected trailer from the "Trailers" document.
How to Use: The chassis number is populated automatically when you select a trailer. It cannot be manually edited.
Type
Description: This field automatically fetches the trailer type from the "Trailers" document.
How to Use: The trailer type is populated automatically when you select a trailer. It cannot be manually edited.
